Spirit Animal: Pikmin

I've been thinking a lot about how small I am. I deal with a lot of big challenges. That's how I decided what my spirit animal is.

I'm a Pikmin.

A red Pikmin in fact. Those little guys are the leaders of their group of Pikmin. I feel like I naturally take charge of things just like a red Pikmin takes charge of the battle. So, today, I officially recognize myself as a red Pikmin.

Before we are ready to work, we Pikmin need a little pick-me-up. But, once we've sprouted and have been given our goals, we get to work.

We red Pikmin, while uncertain at times, dive headfirst into our adventures. I dove right into Rock Valley College with not that much thought, but I'm taking it head on. Sometimes that can get me into trouble (or eaten in the case of Pikmin).

Although we red Pikmin are strong and feel like leaders, we're nothing without one another. All of the projects and work I've done in my life (especially in Mass Comm) would have ended in disaster if it hadn't been for my fellow Pikmin.

We are all small individually, and have different talents. When we work together, we're able to take on much bigger challenges and achieve our goals together.

I love working together to achieve great things. It doesn't matter who you are, we'll make something great together.

Again, we red Pikmin do like to take charge, but we're more than capable of taking orders. We're really reliable actually. If you call on us to do a task, you can bet that we'll put 150% into completing it. We're resistent to fire. When the flames reach higher than the leaves on our heads, we just charge right through. We might get a little hurt, but we'll survive.

Pikmin don't like to be interrupted. The more we work, the better we get. The leaves on our heads bloom and we get more work done. We're pretty beautiful.

That's about the long and short of it when it comes to red Pikmin. Now, I've got to run, the Captain's calling.

Why not finish by listening to our gorgeous theme song:
