It's a picture of me holding a leaf. It's supposed to be majestic and remind you of college. I tried, okay?

So, my name is Brandon Miracle. (I know.) I'm 21 and engaged to be married. (I know.) Right now I'm a student at Rock Valley College for Mass Communication. For awhile, I really didn't know what I was doing. I went to a four year school and screwed up. Then the money wasn't there and I ended up back home. At this point, I didn't know why the hell I went to college. I had aspirations, but I lacked motivation.

That's when I found it.

After being home and unemployed, I realized that adults need money or something. So, I found out about APAC Customer Service. It's a call center. (I know.) I applied and made money in exchange for 40 hours of absolutely disgusting human interactions per week. I hit my 6th week of work at this place. I was placed at a new seat with a new computer. My computer had one working monitor and could hardly maintain an internet connection. Being number 1 in my session's graduating class (as if that's something to be proud about), I went up to my supervisor and asked to be moved to a location that would actually allow me to do my job. When she told me no, I left. I just left.

I never went back. When I got home, I applied to Rock Valley College.

So, there you have it. That's why I applied to college. That was around 18 months ago. Given my track record, you might wonder why I'm still here.

As it turns out, Rock Valley College is the single best decision I've ever made in my entire life. I spend a fraction of the money to meet with teachers and students that far exceed the professionalism and talents of those at my previous college. It's here that I learned that I can make it. I've had some professors that challenged my greatest flaws and pushed me to achieve things that I always thought were far too difficult for an average bloke like I was. I owe my future to the people here because if it weren't for them, I would have just given up again.

Now, I go to college to achieve the dream I've given up on twice before. I've worked harder than I ever have to learn, produce, and discover film and video.

With that, it's time to get back to making more awesome B movies. (I know.)
